The range of metal castings poured at
Precious Goods can be categorized in general as
following.
1. Cast Irons:
Range of cast irons from FC15 to FC30 (JIS
Standards.) Sand molding with green
sand, furan (no-bake) and full-mold (Foam Pattern.) Melts are
controlled with CE Meter and Spectroanalysis. Weights can be
less than 1kg up to 3000kg. For high-volume cast iron parts,
the molding can be done with Automatic Molding Lines
(either verical molding with Disamatic, or horizontal molding.)
2. Ductile Cast Irons:
Ductile cast irons, or spheroidal graphite irons, range from FCD40 to
FCD60 (JIS Standards.) The sand molding operation uses the
same line as cast iron molding lines, with manual or automatic molding. The
compositions are also
controlled with CE Meter and Spectroanalysis. Weights can be
less than 1kg up to 3000kg.
3. Steels:
Steels include low and medium carbon steels, low alloyed steels
and high alloyed steels. Sand molding with Sodium Silicate and
No-Bake. Foam pattern is another option. High manganese steels
for mining services are one of our products.
4. Stainless Steels:
Stainless steels range from popular grade Austenitic Stainless
Steel SUS304 to Hardenable Martensitic Stainless Steels. For
precision and small parts, we offer lost wax or investment casting.
5. High Alloyed Cast Irons:
This is a special group of cast irons. Mainly used in specific
conditions require wear resistance, high temperature service,
corrosion resistance, etc.
